This year we have decided to take the time to share some of our local knowledge of the Scottish routes that we like to ride that are off the NC500 and still offer unique and thrilling twisties, panoramas and unique spots for a cup of coffee.
If you are excited by a true motorcycle adventure but don't have the time or ability to travel across the World then the TET is just the answer. Mixing accessibility with the feeling of travelling somewhere adventurous it is perfect for a one day or two week holiday that can fit in with your work and family commitments.
As we progress into 2021, the inevitability of electric vehicles is becoming inescapable. With Tesla stock skyrocketing and all major car manufacturers announcing their impending transition to electric, many motorcyclists find themselves wondering where this leaves their preferred mode of travel.
In some areas of the UK, especially in the North of England there is a current epidemic of illegal motorcycle use. A large part of this is the use of “off-road” only motorcycles on public highways such as the unpaved byways found in rural areas of Yorkshire and the Peak District.
In 2021, the variety of navigation and motorcycle focused apps available on the market is massive. From custom navigation to trip planning to onboard communication, there is something for every rider. Here is our rundown of some of our favourites to help you get started this year.
Riding the TET, not only provides you with a challenge, but allows you to see our country in a totally different light. You will travel along roads and trails that you never knew existed, and see sights that you wouldn’t normally see on any other trip.
We started development on out S21 tough cases as soon as they were announced and we hope to share them with you by Q2 of 2021. Included will be the same high level of protection and quality our customers have come to expect and a bespoke fitted case that provides onboard accessibility to your expensive new device.
We began the design of our tough cases before launch and have been working hard to create the best products we can for motorcycle enthusiasts. Our focus is on making sure your valuable device is fully protected from dirt, dust, water, and road debris.
That is where Action Cameras come into their own. Their small form factor and weatherproof design allow them to be easily attached to a motorcyclists helmet or even to different parts of the riders motorcycle to get many different shots
That's why we have created our latest Tough case, the Ultimateaddons Universal XXL! Our Ultimateaddons phone case will protect from the elements, while powering it as you travel. The huge screens on these smartphones are amazing for navigation
On some motorcycles there is not a lot of space for mounting systems, such as on sports bikes / sports tourers. However, our Ultimateaddons Panigale fork stem mounting attachment is design specifically for the Panigale.
A huge issue with trail riding in the UK is legality and whether or not a track has legal access for motorcycles. Unbelievably motorcycles have access to less than 1 percent of the total byways left in the UK! So we must be very careful to stay legal.
Many bikes from scooters to cafe racers have either fairing mounted mirrors or bar end mirrors. This leaves the standard m10 bolt thread in the clutch and front brake levers unused. Our M10 mirror lug attachment screws directly into these m10 threads and allows any of our phone cases to be attached via the 20mm ball attachment.
That is when your smartphone and Ultimateaddons tough case has a trick! By simply installing Google Translate you have access to super quick and simple spoken translation! When activated you can simply take your tough case in your hand and speak into it and it will translate
Most of the successful older people that I know say that doing things out of your comfort zone is important every now and then. As a result, when I was recently given the opportunity to do my motorcycle CBT (knowing almost nothing about motorcycles), I said yes. I wouldn’t describe myself as a petrol head, in fact until recently I would say I was the opposite (a.. custard foot?)
