Biking Events to Start the 2023 Season

With many biking events taking place across the country throughout the year, we wanted to share a few over the next month or so to kick start the biking season!

We have found a few events taking place across the UK to share with you so hopefully you will be able to find one you can attend.

SCOTLAND

Rider Refinement Course

This advanced riding course helps motorcyclists to ride responsibly in order to reduce the number of collisions on roads.

“The course aims to raise awareness of the importance of road safety and make riders think of the personal consequences of taking risks.” – Police Scotland

Having complete this course last year, our director would recommend it to anyone who considers it.

ENGLAND

May Day Run

This event has been taking place for over 40 years in the south of England, drawing up to 40 thousand bikers and spectators to Hastings over the May Day bank holiday weekend.

On the 1^st of May, it is expected that 20 thousand bikers will make the trip from Locksbottom in Kent to Hastings, Sussex in the annual event.

MCN Festival

Tickets are on sale now for the MCN Festival, taking place on the 13^th and 14^th of May at the East of England Arena in Peterborough. This annual event allows riders to come and test the year’s latest motorcycles from across the world, as well as live shows and demonstrations.

NORTHERN IRELAND

With many races in Northern Ireland cancelled this year due to insurance issues, there are not as many to report on as usual. However, between the 7^th and 12^th of May, the North West 200 Race Week Festival will take place in the build up to the race day on Saturday the 13^th of May.

This race will loop around the top of the country, passing many towns on the way.
