Can you imagine an app for motorcycle riders that helps you share your passion, record and track your motorcycle rides, explore and share the best roads, create ride groups with buddies and see their location on the map? Pretty good so far.

EatSleepRIDE Motorcycle GPS is an all-in-one tracking, social and safety app designed for motorcycle riders. The ESR app helps you track unlimited rides, explore the best motorcycle roads near and far, and create ride groups. Feeling safe matters for ESR and their mission is to help riders share the passion and ride anywhere with freedom.

Group Ride Powered by ESR 

The ESR app is free and has a bunch of features. Recently the team at ESR updated the Group Ride feature. It’s designed to take the pressure off of keeping up in a group ride. Slower and faster riders can ride at their own pace without the worry of separating from the group. At the same time, if you’re at home looking for moto-vation, one quick look at the app and you’ll know who’s out riding and where they’re at.

The EatSleepRIDE Group Ride feature lets you create a motorcycle ride group by inviting riders to join. Once they join, you’ll see members on the map. If you want, you can always control your visibility by turning your location On or Off.

You’re probably wondering if you can create multiple groups, and the answer is yes--but you can only be active (or visible) in one group at a time. We recommend you keep your group size manageable, but theoretically, there is no limit to the number of riders you can add to a single group.

How It Works

Here’s an example of how it works. Marina has three groups she likes to ride with. One is called "WRWR USA", there's "Ducati Riders" and "Monday ride". As the owner of the group, Marina can invite as many people as she likes to each group, but she can only be active in one group at a time. All groups can have different or similar members. When a Group Ride is active, the owner of the ride group as well as all the members in the group can see each other on the map as long as they set their visibility set to ON.  

The ESR app keeps your location and privacy in control. That means you can change yourvisibility to either ON or OFF with one switch. 

The Step-by-Step To Create Your First Group Ride

1. Download and open the freeESR app for iOS or Android
2. Open the middle button to view the map screen
3. Tap theGroup icon that looks like two motorcycle helmets

4. Tap the+CREATE GROUP button at the bottom of the screen

5. Pick aGroup Name >remember it must be unique on ESR so you may need to be specific with your name, for example, "WRWR USA"
6. TapNext
7. TapSearch
8. Tap theINVITE button and enter the first few letters of the username you’re looking for
9. TapDone
10. Now you’ll see the riders profile images on the map in real-time!
