It replaces one of the 4 handlebar clamp mounting bolts with a special longer bolt that has a 25mm ball attachment at the top. By using this it keeps Huawei P30 or P40 case very low and allows for positioning in either portrait or landscape as well as tilting for the best viewing angle.
